Camouflage cake topper

I found this adorable cake topper at Magic Mud. What an awesome way to top off an awesome camoflauge wedding..and cake!

Ask wedding party....check!

I finally finished asking all of my wedding party to actually be in the wedding party. At the beginning I had a lot of negative feedback on the girls wearing camouflage dresses so I decided to go with orange dresses instead. I am going to try to either make camouflage shawls or try to find inexpensive shawls out there somewhere. I would rather not have people spending a lot of money on their attire to the wedding since we have a lot that are in the same family. I have

1 maid of honor
1 matron of honor
1 honory matron of honor(will not stand up front)
4 bridesmaids

1 best man
1 honory best man (will not stand up front)
4 groomsmen

2 flower girls
1 ring bearer

...and a partidge in a pear tree :)

I wanted to make sure everyone that was improtant to us was included and I think we covered that. I am searching for camouflage accessories for my girls. Will post my findings :)

Wait and See

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I fully believe that. I think that everyone should be able to feel, speak and think as they choose. The thing I don’t understand is why everyone feels so compelled to share their opinion with everyone. I know that having an unusual wedding will leave people talking and that is something that I like. I think weddings should be fun and different and even funny. I don't understand why people can't wait to see things for their own eyes. I have a person in my life who literally knows about 2 details of my wedding and he won't stop bad mouthing me around town. "Her wedding is going to be ugly", "it is so stupid" are just a couple things that are flying out of the mouth of this...person. You know what I have to say to you.... wait and see. After the wedding feel free to judge and talk, but don’t look ignorant when you have no clue as to what you are talking about.

Funky Shoes

I am in search of my wedding shoes. No luck yet but the search is on. Beware discount shoe stores, CamoBride is coming to find the most funky boots I can find to wear on my wedding day. I am thinking either bright orange boots with so many rhinestones that it is almost blinding or camouflage boots that will also match my theme.(Of course the camo boots will have to have rhinestones as well. We shall see what I come up with. So far nothing is sparkly enough for me. The search continues...

My garter set is here!

I received my garter in the mail today. Talk about someones day being made. This garter set originally came with a deer head as the charm. I requested that the maker change the charm to a heart to match my wedding jewelery I have planned. Also, because the camouflage and orange theme isn't totally dealing with hunting its more because my fiances favorite color is orange and mine has always been camouflage. Please excuse the horrible picture, if you can't tell the garter set is camouflage with orange trim with brown and orange ribbon on front with an adorable double heart charm on the front of each.

A Different Kind of Wedding

The one thing my fiance and I want is a different kind of wedding. We are getting married on June 11. Our colors are camouflage and orange. Our theme is rustic, county and basically anything that I can make or seems cute or different to me. I am crafty, I am unique, I am planning a wedding that reflects exactly that.
